Tropical Farm

It's Chinese New Year, and my aunt's back from Kuala Lumpur. What's so good about aunt's back? Well, other than getting extra ang pao, aunt will bring us to places in Kuching that I probably would never get chance to go if aunt wasn't here! So yesterday, aunt brought us to her friend's farm - Tropical Farm, located at Batu Kawa.

I'm slow in realizing I actually brought with me a camera......phone... So I only started taking photos when I'm in the bungalow on top of the hill, which is the last stop... -.- But I managed to get some photos from brother's phone. Our first stop is the long house, but both my brother and me did not snap any photo from there. =(

Second stop - ducksss! There are chickens too, black chickens! And horse too. But it's not in this photo. =)

The farm is not open to public. It's only for friends, family, and educational use, such as Scouts, Leo Clubs, and so.

Logos Hope

Logos Hope, the world's largest floating book fair, arrived in Kuching on 27th October 2011, and is open for visit from 28th October 2011 to 13th November 2011.

I've never visited a ship before, especially such big one, so I was so excited when I finally get the chance to go this morning.

The first thing we see when we entered. Forgot what it's called.

After you visited the bookstore, you will pass through a road with pictures on the wall, telling a story about a guy who left house and met a group of "bad friends", and did all kinds of bad things, and finally regret, so he went back home, and was forgiven. This is the picture of the guy leaving his house. This picture actually have depth, but you can't really see it in this photo.

This is the next thing you'll see after passing through that road. You can put your head and hands into the holes. I did not play, though. Haha.

Then you will reach the cafe.

Oh, this puppet... When I see him, he's standing still. So I thought I could snap a clear picture of him, and...when he sees me, he wave his hand! Argghh, he's trying to be friendly, but this is what happen to his photo. -.- Actually I wanted to take a photo with him, but he just keep move forward with all the kids around him, and away he go...

Before we leave, we visited the toilet.

When we're leaving, I saw sailors cleaning their ship. Unfortunately, we wasn't allowed to visit the whole ship. It was kinda disappointing... We were only allowed to visit such small part of the ship, and the book fair wasn't as large as I thought... I'm silly to think that the whole ship is actually a bookstore. Maybe I'm over excited, so I'm very disappointed. =(

I was very unlucky to bump into a group of primary school and middle school students paying a visit to the ship. You can imagine the place crowded with all the school students, running up and down, pushing and knocking people, and even blocking the way! They just stand in the middle of the road and talk, without realizing they are blocking the only road connecting the two rooms, and not hearing us saying "excuse me" until the old man behind me have to shout at them. -.-"

Harvest Moon SNES

Sunshine After the Rain

My first painting - Sunshine After the Rain (or you can call it "half-painting"). I'm learning how to paint in Photoshop now. I painted the sky but don't know how to paint the human and butterfly, so i used my "paint-anime-style" to paint it lol. @@" That's why it's called "half-painting", haha~

P/S: Sunshine After the Rain also reflects situation between couple after overcoming an argument. So don't worry, everything will be fine, cause you can't have rain forever, right? =)

Contemporary Art Exhibition

I went to the Spring with monkey the other day, and saw this Contemporary Art Exhibition held behind Padini. At first, I thought we wasn't allowed to take photos, but after I saw everyone in there held up their cameras and phones, and I couldn't find any rules saying that we must not take photos, so there I go, running up and down asking monkey help me snap a few photos for my blog.

First thing I saw when I entered. You can even see it from the outside, it's just right in front of the door.

These art pieces were provided by Sarawak Art Society, students from Lim Kok Wing, UNIMAS, and so.

Hitobashira Alice

Lately I came across a creepy song, called Hitobashira Alice, or Alice of Human Sacrifice in English.

It's creepy, but I kinda like it, I wonder why... I am very interested in the lyrics, and have read a lot of references regarding the song, but I still can't get exactly what it means. Any idea on what happen to Rin and Len?

Balloon Animals

Do you like balloons? Though I'm not young anymore, but I still love balloons! So I bought a bag of 8 long balloons (you know, the long long type which clowns use to make all kinds of balloon toys for kids) and made my own balloon animals!

In the photo: a light blue mouse, a red "whatever", a blue elephant, and a pink pig.

Not bad for first try eh. You may ask whether did I burst my balloon(s), and yes! I burst one of my red balloon into two pieces, and so I couldn't make my tiger, and end up making the "whatever" animal in the photo. I nearly cry for my tiger.

Here's the order of my balloon animals I made:
1, a red dog - success!
2, an orange monkey - quite success, except that everyone keep mistaken my monkey for a poodle...
3, a white monkey - failed... it looks exactly like a poodle, and it's white! T__T
4, a pink pig - half success, you can't see it from the photo, but actually I didn't finish the body, cause I'm afraid it would burst...
5, a light blue mouse - success! And it's the cutest animal I made other than my pig, I guess.
6, a blue elephant - success. But I didn't quite like it.
7, a red tiger - failed! Like I said earlier, it burst!
So here goes another 7, a red "whatever" - I let my brother play around with the two pieces, and after combining it together, I don't know what this animal is.
8, a green balloon - gave it to monkey to play. Didn't know what he is going to do with it.

SPCA Exhibition

I went to Boulevard few days ago and was lucky to see the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) Exhibition. I managed to snap a few photos of the animals. Sorry for the low quality cause we have to keep a distance away from the animals and I was snapping those photos by phone.

Improved Piano

I made some changes to my old piano icon.

I think it looks much better now. I removed the keys' reflection on the black "board" on top, added some gradient to my black keys to separate the "board" and keys and some gradient on the white keys to show some shadow, and tune down the lighting, so it doesn't look as glossy as before.

There wasn't much things happening around me which I could blog about. So notice how my recent posts were stuck into things related to Photoshop? Cause that's the only thing I've been playing lately.

Yet another icon I made for iPhone. It's map icon, and guess what? It's Malaysia!

I do respect my country, don't I? xp

Oh, and bout my piano icon I made not long ago, I never view it in other monitor other than my desktop until today, now, I'm viewing it in my netbook, and I realized how glossy it is! I guess my desktop monitor is REALLY dark that I never notice! And for your information, my dad turned down the brightness since the day the monitor came to my house, cause he don't like it bright. Guess I will be redoing my piano icon after this post... Sigh.

Since there's an Angry Bird, so why aren't there any Angry Blue Bird a.k.a Twitter? I redid this a few times, cause my first one end up like plastic.

You probably don't wish to see twitter with an angry face as it will spoil your mood, so I made a few other facial expression to represent different mood.

By the way, the last one shows neutral... (at least that's what I'm planning to show) I have a bad skill in expressing the mood. Bleh.

While sitting in the toilet waiting to done my "business", this idea came to my mind as I reach my hand for the toilet roll... (Hey, don't say I'm dirty, everyone does the same thing everyday, no?)

I wonder how thick the toilet roll will be for one year (365 days)! Maybe divide it into a few months? (Not so convenient huh?) Oh, and it doesn't have to be in the toilet of course, who would want to look at the calendar in the toilet?

P/S: Don't tell me the background looks flat, I'm lazy to put details to the background. (Actually I doubt if I could even make the tiles look like one)

Knitting Tools

I tried knitting a handphone case about half months ago, and it's my first try. I learned knitting through the internet. But something that bothers me is I do not have the knitting tools. Knitting tools needed are:

Large Knitting Needles

Plastic Needles

and of course, Yarn.

I bought the yarn, but where can I find the knitting needles? I totally have no idea where to find it in Kuching, and I think it's a waste to buy something which only used once.

So instead of using the Large Knitting Needles, I used chopsticks:

And instead of using Plastic Needles, I used hairpin. Yes, hairpin.

This is how you should use your hairpin:

Pass the yarn through the hole of the pin, use the pin like a needle.

Hopefully this helps some of those who are worrying about what to use for knitting. =)

Digital Painting

Can you guess who is this before you look at the picture at the bottom?

This is my first digital painting, and it really kills! And by the way, I AM NOT USING TABLET! I'm using mouseee!! I have to say, I hate the hair, hate the shirt! I ignore some of the details on the shirt because I have no idea what type of shirt is she wearing.

I started drawing the hair from the left, and I only spent one day for the left side, but I spent one week for the right side! That's because I lost my patience. At first I thought it was fun drawing the hair, but it took all my patience. You can ask monkey how noisy I am while drawing the right side hair. The hair started to lost it's detail starting from the neck...

Puzzle

I spent my holidays on a 1000 pieces puzzle. Spent about two weeks on the puzzle, cause I'm not playing full time.

I've always wanted to play puzzle so much. Then while I went out with monkey few months ago, I saw this 1000 pieces puzzle and bought it. But I only started playing two weeks ago due to exams.

There's a few Winnie The Pooh puzzle, but I chose this one, because I think it's the toughest... Most of the area are covered with grass, so it's hard to differentiate which piece belong to where. @@ And I really cause myself a lot of trouble!

Luckily there are alphabets at the back of the puzzle, so I can finish it. Regret for choosing such a tough one. xp

Winter Solstice

Do you know what is this? Mee? Worm? (Even if you kill me, I'm not going to take a photo of worm!)

It's my own-made tangyuan! (doesn't look delicious, but the taste is ok) Tangyuan is a kind of food the Chinese eat during Winter Solstice Festival. Winter Solstice Festival, also known as Dongzhi Festival is a traditional festival celebrated by Chinese.

Tangyuan is suppose to be round, like balls, but due to my naughtiness, I made it long~ *hand itchy* I also made two snowmen, a cat, and "something else"... But my cat looks ugly.. ><

The left one is my snowman, and the right one... is the "something else".. Not telling you what is it~

Totoro

Totoro- a monster in an anime called "My Neighbor Totoro".

Monkey likes totoro very much, so I made a totoro out of paper clay for him. After I gave him my totoro, he requested for a totoro family, so I made the family members from the leftovers.

These were all colored by monkey~

The only thing that disappoints me alot is the big totoro's hands. It's all because of owl's fault! After I finish the big totoro (without color yet), I thought it looks like owl, so I added in the hands, which makes it looks more like owl, cause it looks like owl wings! But after we colored it, it looks more like totoro, so I regret adding in the hands which make it looks ugly.. T__T

And I made a mistake on totoro's ears. Totoro's ears is supposed to look like this:

Cherry's 19th

Failure

I like making handcrafts, but always end up failing. *sad* I guess I just didn't put much effort in it.

This is a phone strip I made from paper clay, a kind of clay that will turn hard when it dry. It was supposed to be a belated birthday gift for my friend, but it's a failure.. Why?

1st reason:

It looks so ugly after I colored it. *cry cry*

2nd reason:

It won't stick!! See how the head and body was separated? That's so cruel! T__T

See this hole under the head? I thought it would stick better with a stick piercing through it like a fishball, but it still won't stick!!

Actually I made a big one for monkey too, but I guess it's a failure too.. *sobs* I was thinking of gluing it with superglue.. hopefully it works. But I'm unsure if I'm giving this away to my friend. It's a failure!

O2Mania

Anyone here played O2jam before? Well, I do! I bet those O2jammers must have known that O2jam's server had been shut down for quite a while already! Many of you must have missed O2jam...! Some may have started playing Super Dancer Online (SDO), which is quite similar to O2jam.

However, SDO is NOT O2jam! Here are the differences:
-SDO's character can dance (which makes it more attractive^^) whereas O2jam's character only stands there.
-SDO is about playing songs, whereas O2jam is about playing melodies.
And the most important thing is, SDO only has four keys whereas O2jam has seven! This makes the playing totally different!

So, O2jammers, if you miss the seven keys, why not try playing O2mania? O2mania is exactly the same as O2jam, except that there isn't any character. Why? Because it is an offline game, which means you won't get to challenge other people (the only thing that disappoints me..T.T).

Today, I am going to announce the prizes me and Cherry won for the Game Design Tournament. These are what we get for winning the Intra-school Level.

Game Design Tournament

The tournament was held in the Mary-Yek Multi-Purpose Hall.

Now, let's start the presentation. There were altogether 12 schools participating in the tournament.

Chung Hua Middle School No.1 was the first to present their game.

Next, is the presentation by SMK Sungai Maong.

Erm...don't know what school is this.

Lucky draw after every three presentations to relieve our tension. Cherry was one of the lucky ones. Congrats^^ As for me, I don't even stand a chance to win because I do not get any number T.T

Memories Back In Harvest Moon

I had a busy month last month. Cherry and I participated in a game design competition which ended at the end of April (the result is not out yet,so I will not share it now). Just after our competition,we had our exam! Argh~tiring,man! Anyway,I am glad that it's over now~Yipee~ *HipHipHooray~* (I got this emoticon from Apple^^)

These few days,I see my little brother playing a game called "Harvest Moon". This is a game I played when I was in Form 2. It is a game about a life of a farmer (main character,YOU).

There are many versions of Harvest Moon and with different platforms. The one I played is "Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town"(GameBoyAdvance),"Harvest Moon: Back To Nature"(Playstation),and "Harvest Moon DS"(Nintendo DS).

My mission in Harvest Moon: FoMT is to make money to build a vacation house which costs 999,999,999 G,and get all the four houses (maximum houses in FoMT is four)--------my original house, a vacation house, a sea-side cottage (you can get it from the Harvest Goddess with 42 links),and the mountain cottage (you can get it from your wife on the 50th anniversary). A tough mission~ XD

However,there is one version of Harvest Moon which I have wanted so much,but can't get it. It is the "Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life"(Gamecube) or "Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life"(Playstation 2). I failed to download the Playstation 2 platform. Besides,I can't find a free version for this game....T.T

The scenes are much better than the other versions of Harvest Moon. That's why I have always wanted it~~Anyone has any idea where I can get it?

Besides,there is a Harvest Moon special edition called "Harvest Moon: Innocent Life"(PSP). This one is different from the other versions of Harvest Moon. There are lots of new staffs in this version which you can never experience it in other versions. Most of the things are done by machines~

Lately,my house has turned into a "Cat House". Why do I say so? Because my neighbour's cat delivered her babies at my house!

I managed to take a picture of one of the kittens when the parents were away...(just for your information,I use my dad's hp to take these pictures,so it may not look perfect..)

I was Psst...(a sound a kitten makes when it sees an enemy) by the kitten while taking these pictures...=.=

I am wondering that maybe the mother cat had an affair because both the parents are PURE WHITE!! How could they deliver a kitten with BROWN all over the body??

However,I didn't take any picture of the parents because I was afraid to go near them. They would probably attack me...XD

FAMILY and FAMIHY

Anyone ever thought of WHAT IS A FAMILY??

Most of us may think that family is a group of members consisting of a father, a mother, and child/children (Ya, I know some of you may have grandparents,but that's not the main point I am talking about here...= =). So,...if that is meant by a family,then does that mean that if there is only a father or a mother or just only the children,then they are not family? (Hmm...I don't have the perfect answer,it depends on the situation)

Anyway,in my own opinion,a family doesn't mean that we MUST have the same DNA. A family can be anyone living together with love (*cough* AHEM...don't get too far from the point, please...) So,...does that mean that even if "they"(I doesn't mean anyone..) have the same DNA, but have no love among each other,then "they" are not family?? (Again,there is no perfect answer for this)

Okay,now we may get into my REAL topic----"FAMILY AND FAMIHY"!
FAMILY in WORDS,means "Father And Mother I Love You" (those who watched "Kids Not Stupid 2" will understand where I get this from XD). From the word "FAMILY", we can understand that "LOVE" is very important in a family.

How about the word FAMIHY? Most of you may guess that already...it is the opposite of FAMILY...meaning "Father And Mother I Hate You".

Now,relate my above question (even if "they" have the same DNA,but have no love among each ohter,are "they" still consider as a family?) with the words "FAMILY & FAMIHY". The answer is,NO (as I said above,there is no perfect answer...this is just for fun)! Because "they" are not FAMILY,but "they" are FAMIHY!

Brother Love In Naruto!

Those who have watched Naruto will know that the pair of brothers I am going to talk about here is Uchiha Itachi and Uchiha Sasuke! But wat do I mean by "Brother Love"? Is there any love between the two?

(NOTE: Below is just my own opinion! Please don't "bomb" me if you are not happy with it!!)

Here's a message for those who hate Itachi: Please don't hate Itachi! He actually loves Sasuke so much...you will understand his love after reading this post...(I hope so...)

Can you connect these two conversations together? In my opinion,since Sasuke always treats Itachi as someone he wants to excel,therefore,Itachi tried to help Sasuke excel himself by stirring him(Itachi killed the whole clan,except Sasuke). Itachi wants Sasuke to hate him so that Sasuke will want to become stronger in order to kill Itachi. If Sasuke had succeeded in killing Itachi,means Sasuke is stronger than Itachi already. And Itachi's role as a big brother will also comes to an end.

Here's an evidence showing that Itachi actually loves Sasuke.

This is a very familiar action between the two brothers. Sasuke takes this action as a sign of their relation.

For those who haven't watched this manga,I will explain on it. Itachi and Sasuke had their "last fight"(Sasuke had really grown up a lot^^). They both fighted till the very end...and Itachi, flicked on Sasuke's forehead just before he fell...*sad*touched*

So now,do you still hate Itachi? Please don't hate him...he sacrificed himself to help Sasuke get stronger! A very great brother (BRAVO~)!

Kyo Kara Maoh,dis is an anime dat i m watching nw. i luv it sooo much! its a combination of adventure,comedy and fantasy japanese anime.

The top one is the normal Yuuri(human),and the bottom one is when Yuuri turns into demon.

The main character of dis anime is Shibuya Yuuri. Since Shibuya and Harajuku r japanese well-known railway station,and Yuuri in japanese means advantage,therefore,he is also known as Harajuku Fuuri (Fuuri is the opposite of Yuuri).

The story starts wif Yuuri,a baseball player,saved Murata (a new student came fr Hong Kong hu was later his fren),hu was bullied by a group of gangster. As a result,Yuuri was brought to the GIRL's toilet and was flushed down the toilet...

He was sooo shocked when he found out dat he was flushed to another world!...dont worry,he can still return to Earth as long as he enters the water(nt the toilet)...to his great surprise,he was the New Maou (demon's king) in Shin Makoku (demon's kingdom)!

On the other hand,Wolfram,a Makoku (demon) hu hates human a lot,protest against Yuuri for being the Maou. he said something bout Yuuri's mother when suddenly Yuuri slapped him on the left cheek...

In Makoku's world,slapped one's left cheek means proposed!! so,Wolfram had accidentally b'cam Yuuri's fiance...although Wolfram hates human sooo much,but since Yuuri is very different fr others,he turned out to luv Yuuri!!(his jealousy brought many laughter to dis anime^^)

Yuuri den does his job as a Maou. he wanted peace between Makoku and human which seems to b impossible,but possible at the end. many troubles occured during his reign...

i haven finish dis anime yet,so i dont noe bout the ending. but it seems dat Soushu is the bad guy in dis anime. i cant find Soushu's picture,so very sry dat i cant show u his pic...

i guess dats all i can intrduce bout dis anime b'coz i haven finish it yet, it really is a very interesting and funny anime(i was laughing all the way while watching dis anime)!

Hello Blogger,hello frens. I hav return to my blog after an one year "holiday"(means dat i hav stop writing blogs for one year)! Don ask me for the reason y i stop writing blogs...i decided nt to write any blogs anymore,but...OMG! i'm writing a blog nw!!

Erm...as u can c,dis is me(i used my last year's photo b'coz my camera is out of battery)...i m ah chun,nice to meet u all!^^ can u guess hw old m i from my photo?...i m a 16 years old skool girl(actually i should b 17 dis year,but i haven reach my b'day yet...).

i like watching anime(japanese anime) and like drawing as well. But like drawing doesn't mean dat i mus like colouring too...so,i m nt very interested in colouring(except computer colouring)...i learn drawing from watching anime...dats the main reason y i luv anime. But my dad nvr get to understand it. He owes scold me for watching anime...T.T but still no matter wat,i cant stop watching...i think i can b considered as an ACG(Animations,Comics and Games) Fans,i jus cant stop toking if there is anything bout ACG. i watch a lot of anime and manga. i guess i will introduce some on my nxt post.
