Colorful Bruise

First thing first, let me show off my bruises!

Bruise on my thigh.

And bruise on my hand.

It's so colorful because it's the result (ultimate evident) from playing paintball~

I didn't know Kuching got such thing until the bf's friend mentioned (or maybe it's not considered Kuching? It's somewhere near Santubong). And I requested to tag along. How can I miss such an opportunity? Dad was against it because he was told it hurts but I insisted on playing. He can't stop me, no.

So this is basically how the paintball field look like. I was expecting it to be larger. But that's fine, cause the game do not require a big field. And I was expecting the game to last longer... Fact is, the average duration for the game is only about 3 minutes. But still fun!

And this is the lobby.

I played 3 matches. During the first match, I was so desperately shooting at my target that I didn't notice I ran out of bullet. I surrendered and ended my first match without being shot. Then during the second match, I tried my best to save my bullet. Second match was a long match. I was out after being shot in the fingers with lots of bullets left. Passed my gun to my teammate who ran out of bullet, but that's cheating, I think. Hahaha. For your information, being shot in the fingers doesn't hurt AT ALL! I hardly noticed I was shot. I only feel liquid flowing down my fingers and noticed I was shot... Ended second match feeling rather disappointed because I was looking forward to colorful shirt and bruises... LOL. And then the third match fulfilled my dream. I was hit almost immediately after the match started, LOL. 3 shots at a time some more. It happened so sudden and the pain come and go. The next thing I know, I saw orange liquid down my hand and pants and thigh. Not too sure which comes first. But that doesn't matter... I was shot! Yay, photo-taking session......

See my orange pants? Okay, I know it's only a very small area... Was expecting it to be bigger, but the bullet is only as big as your eyeball (or maybe smaller), how big area do you expect it to hit? Oh by the way, just for your information, the paint can be washed off easily, so no worries in whatever you're wearing. Blood is way harder to wash than this.

As a conclusion, it's not exactly that pain. Much much more endurable than I imagined. Guess I can endure pain more than I know. I'm somewhat addicted to the pain... and it makes me want to get a tattoo... kekeke. Anyway, I think I prefer paintball over laser tag. But I know people who prefer laser tag over paintball... So it all depends on the individual itself. I prefer paintball for one reason, it's more real and more challenging as compared to laser tag. One thing I'm disappointed about is that the bullet only shoot orange liquid... I want yellow, green, red, blue...rainbow color~ lalala, colorful life~

Tattoo, yes or no?

If you hadn't know, well, I wanted a tattoo since like years ago. And that feeling just gets stronger each year. But oh all those obstacles... and none of the people around me seems to be supportive on the idea... when can I actually get one? Anyway, putting that aside, I just couldn't make up my mind on a tattoo design. I love stars, had always wanted a star tattoo, but couldn't come out with a star tattoo design that can satisfy myself. Tried Google, and still, ... Then I think scorpion is cool. I'm a scorpio for your information. But if I do that, I feel "exposed" - like, everyone knows I'm a scorpio just by looking at my tattoo... Then I wanted random curvy lines, but again, couldn't come out with something that can satisfy myself, or too afraid that one day I might think the lines just don't look as cool anymore and regret it... Then I wanted words, but had totally no idea on that one...

And another important decision of having a tattoo - location. I kinda decided on this one, but, obstacles... I wanted one on my calf, for two reasons - one, purely just because I like it there (suitable and visible); two, because they say it's one of the least pain locations for tattoos. But the obstacles? First, my future career - I'll most probably be working in an office. I don't know bout other countries, but in Malaysia, people have bad perceptions on tattoo and they expect people working in the office to be good little girl with no tattoo (and colorful hair, on side note). I didn't want to be stipulated to wear long trousers to work instead of blouse or dress, cause what I had in mind my future is to wear pretty dresses to work. Long trousers are fugly. Second, problems relating to getting into a "new" family "peacefully"... Why do people always have to think badly about having tattoos?

You might say, "why not get one on a location you can hide, like parts of the body where you cover with clothes?". My thought is, if you're going to get a tattoo, make it visible. What's the point paying hundreds to hide it where people can't see? But if you're having more than one tattoo, then it might be cool hiding some while having some visible. That's what I was planning to do. Was. Until I found out that the tummy is one of the most pain locations for tattoos. Because I wanted my second tattoo to be on my tummy...

And if you're thinking why I didn't mention my dad as the obstacle, well, he's kinda an obstacle, but I don't really care. Worst case also I get scolded badly and that's all, it's not going to affect my future or whatsoever.

Okay, enough of blabbering, time to sleep. Nights.
