Htiz Kuching Birthday Invasion 2012

2nd November, 2012 - Hitz Kuching Birthday Invasion. And guess what? Greyson Chance was in Kuching! Yeap, of course I was there, or I wouldn't be posting this. Well, I'm not a fan of Greyson Chance, but since the tickets are free, so why not? However, there are 2 different types of tickets, which are the Rock Zone tickets and the Standing Zone tickets. Rock Zone tickets are the ones standing nearer to the stage, whereas the Standing Zone tickets are the ones standing way far behind. My friends and I got ourselves the Standing Zone tickets.

But when we reach there, no one ask for us to show our tickets. We just went in with no guards around, and there it is, the Standing Zone. My friends and I were somewhat unhappy, but oh well, it's free anyway, and at least the Rock Zone do have guards watching. But the Standing Zone and Rock Zone is only separated by iron railings with guards only at the entrance. It's way too easy to break in. Even a girl of my size can just climb in. And as expected, in the middle of the party, a group of guys break into the Rock Zone. Then the Standing Zone crowds went crazy and everyone were pushing and squeezing to get in there. So ended up, everyone get to enter the Rock Zone.... Exactly, what are the tickets for? Huh...

Anyway, I'm still being a good girl and continue standing at my Standing Zone even though we were offered by the guards. No point going in there when everyone else gets to go in already.

There there there, the main point of the whole party....

The Grand Piano! ....Oops, I mean, Greyson Chance!

Nah, can't even see his face from my photos, this could be anyone. Hahahaha. Well, it's him alright. His voice changed! He grew up! And he's tall! Taller than the guy adults in the Hitz crew! Asians are short... Oh well...

A group photo with my friends who went there that night. Oh, wait, someone's missing in this photo, cause she's the photographer for this photo. Haha.

There! The missing "photographer"! (Why do I always look like I'm drunk in my photos...?)

P/S: I'm supposed to be doing my homework right now... Ended up blogging.. Helpppp~

Cherry's 21st

It's my lao gong's (Cherry) birthday! Not today, it's on the 26th October. Didn't plan any surprise for her this year cause she planned her own birthday. So I hide my surprise in the present. Ngehehehe... Guess what I bought for her?

An overpriced headband!

Block Party Metallic Charcoal

Remember the story of the coloring contest? I decided to buy her the headband since then. I left her a note in the bag together with the present. And the note writes:

A gift to fulfill your dissatisfaction and curiosity.
Dissatisfaction, in terms of the S&S competition.
Curiosity, in terms of "how good is this S&S thingy?"

And I warned her before she open the present, "your reaction will be scolding "FUCK"". And she really did. HAHAHAHA. But anyway, she loves the present! Gladdd!

Hopefully she posted bout it soon, she's kinda busy with her assignments now.

Last but not least, HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BELOVED LAO GONG!!! Love you! Muackxxx!

FEB Open Day 2

Hello again! Let's continue to the 2nd day of the open day of my faculty!

Starting the day with breakfast from my cafe. Who said I wasn't supportive enough, huh huh huh?

The romantic candle light! High-class cafe, ok!

My Fruit Tartlet.

Cassey's Chocolate Moist Cake (which ended up finishing by me, hoho).

Oh, and did I forgot to mention our food was provided by Sky Cafe? Sky Cafe, catering for Mas Airline. High-class cafe, ok! But somehow, not much people enjoy the unique taste from Sky Cafe (okay okay, I'm one of them...). There's this (weird...?) taste in all the Sky Cafe food, and that's why it's called unique... But sorry to say, I still think it's...weird... And so is all my other "customers" who were "dragged in" by me... Muahahahaha, sorry sorry, but that's my job bahhhh, stop blaming it on me!

Cassey looking reeeaal pretty at the beginning of the day! (And we were sweating like crazy after that... -.-)

Me!!

Then again, having my lunch at the Japanese Cafe. Muahahahaha. Stop saying I'm not supportive, I went into the Japanese Cafe to drag customers, ok? I'm doing my job, I'm doing my job, I'm doing my job.....

Our sushies!!

Tadaaaa! My star~ I love starss~

Thanks to the girl on my left who drew the star for me~

Cute juniors I met in the Japanese Cafe who were then dragged to the Maid Cafe. Muahahahaha. Thanks alot for finishing up the food!

And while I'm busy fooling around with unknown strangers (to promote them to my cafe), Cassey went to do Inai on her hand.

Inai. Like a layer of ink drawn on your skin. It not easy to wash off, or rather, you can't wash it off. It will slowly fade away after some time (a week or more, maybe?).

Then I saw these cravings displayed on the table in front of my faculty.

Unimas have such talented human-being!

The closing ceremony is of course unseparable from Oppa Gangnam Style flash mob. This thing is integrating into all kinds of events... -.- Photos and videos available in Facebook, go search for yourself...

The "big family" photo for our Maid Cafe! Eh, I saw intruders from the Japanese Cafe!!! Shoo shoo~

I'm so hyper all day long that I don't realized I'm tired until the end of the day, I lay dead on my bed. Hahahaha. Yeah, I'm the kind of person that can play till I didn't realize I'm tired.

Well, before I end my post, let me have a few sentences. The preparations, as I mentioned in my previous post, is tiring! A mess! Especially for students staying outside of the school, in Kuching area, like me. I thought I wouldn't want to take part in any of these anymore until the actual day of the event, I had so much fun, really so much, that I forgot all about the tiring preparations, and yeah, I would say the fun is worth the preparations, so probably in the future, if I still get the chance to, I will go for it again!

A photo of me, bringing my star out for late dinner @ Hui Sing food court. Hahahaha. I'm daring enough.

P/S: You have to be crazy to enjoy the fun! ;-)

FEB Open Day 1

FEB = Faculty of Economics and Business.

Last month was Unimas's graduation ceremony. My faculty's open day was held on the same day. And yes, I'm from Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), instead of arts and design which everyone thinks that's where I belong to.

I participated in one of the activities, which was setting up a temporary cafe for that 2 days. Oh, anyway, I'm the promoter for the cafe, so I'm not in the cafe most of the time. I'm running around, playing more than working!

See my piles of works on the table... I have to admit, the preparations are seriously tiring!

There were 2 cafes, mine is the "Maid Cafe" (and some people just think this name sounds funny -.- ....no, the name is not decided by me), and another one set up by my coursemates is called the "Japanese Cafe".

There, my Maid Cafe. Did you notice the guy standing at the door? He's an international student from Turkey. Very friendly guy. And shy. Hahahaha.

I had my lunch in the Japanese Cafe instead of my own Maid Cafe. HAHAHAHA. Not supportive enough, eh? Hey, I dragged lots of people into my cafe, ok?

Sushi from Sushi King. Yeap, this is the real Sushi King's sushi alright.

Playing in the Japanese Cafe. Hahahaha.

See how full is the Japanese Cafe. People are lining up for it!

And the atmosphere in my cafe.... Full too! But not as squeezy as the Japanese Cafe due to the difference in our sitting plan. Both our cafe ran out of food within halfday ONLY!

Cosplaying. LOL.

I'm so playful that I turned from a promoter in Maid Cafe into a part-timer in the Japanese Cafe! The red blouse I'm wearing is no doubt the original blouse from Sushi King! So proud that I get the chance to wear it! Muahahahahaha.

A group photo before the end of first day. The leader for my cafe is not in. This is only part of us (not the formal group photo yet). Tune-in for the second day, followed by more fun, and the more crazy me!

Sushi Bonanza

A month ago, I went to Sushi Bonanza. Yes, it's a month ago, and this is a late blog post. Umm, no, I'm not a fan of sushi. I can only eat those sushies that are not so sushi (if you know what I mean). I don't eat raw fishes, no salmon, no eel, no octopus and whatever else you can think of. I eat sausages, chickens, nuggets, and prawns (whatever you can find in all other normal places), hahahaha!

The lining-up process! The line wasn't really long yet that time. We went quite early, before the normal dinner time.

Finally made it in. Not too long, about a few minutes, I think?

Cassey's not-so-happy face with her sushi. You should laugh happily la! You're the one who's so excited to eat sushi!

Phyllis with her sushi.

Me and my sushi! See my sushi? Nuggets and chickens. HAHAHA!

I don't see the chicken I used to eat, instead I saw this. Maybe they changed my chicken? I still prefer the old one... =(

After the dinner, we went to shop for some clothes... YOU PEOPLE SHOULD STOP BRINGING ME TO CLOTHES SHOP! I JUST CAN'T RESIST T-SHIRTS! And so I bought two...

The green one is very cute! And it writes "Break all the rules"! I LOVE IT! Suit me well, no?
